This massive two-hour Foundry mix was commissioned by Maer Ben-Yisrael (Dub Beautiful) for use in their Field Of Drones venue at the 2003 OM Festival in Ontario, Canada. The mix includes tracks from a number of Foundry releases up through early 2003, including the work of Seofon, Jonathan Hughes, Dean Santomieri, Rhomb, Mollusk, The Apiary, and eM/M. Bentley. There are also some smaller sections of ambiance unique to this particular mix. This material was designed to run as a continuous two-hour programme, but had been divided into two hour-long tracks due to the capacity limitations of available media at the time.

The premise for the Field Of Drones venue was to create a large, decentralized sound environment. Traditionally festival stages have had a few large speakers concentrated in a small area. The Field Of Drones distributed many smaller speakers over a large area, creating an immersive sound environment of 100 metres by 50 metres. The speakers were arranged such that the listener was able to hear the sound evenly and clearly from virtually any point on the field. The tracks in this mix were chosen specifically to try and maximize this approach to creating a unique listening experience.

Other participants in the Field Of Drones included: Steve Roach [Projekt, Timeroom], Robert Rich, Em:t Records, and Fathom/Hearts of Space Records, Em:t Records.
